We specialise in small to medium sized projects in the South Lakeland area. Principally we design and build gardens but also undertake one-off repairs of walls, fences, paving etc., as well as building/installing/modifying outdoor features and structures. Garden maintenance work is generally, but not exclusively, limited to gardens that we have built.
We stand aside from other firms in our unique ability to create innovative and harmonious outdoor spaces and features. Our preference is to use and to recycle natural products and materials from our local area when it is appropriate to do so, although we do have extensive knowledge and experience of a wide range of landscaping products from major suppliers which can be adapted to suit most budgets.

John Hempston
John began his landscaping career with a well respected local firm where he worked his way up to becoming site manager on various large construction projects. His interest in working with natural materials such as stone and wood led him to specialise in the "hard" landscaping side of the business. Previously, John has gained BSc (hons) Geology and MRes from Liverpool University, as well as various outdoor instructing qualifications and is now Dry Stone Walling Association certified.
